fonts-ancient-scripts software package provides Unicode Fonts for Ancient Scripts, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-ancient-scripts
fonts-ancient-scripts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-ancient-scripts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-ancient-scripts *
You will get with fonts-ancient-scripts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
