fonts-3270 software package provides monospaced font based on IBM 3270 terminals, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-3270
fonts-3270 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-3270 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-3270 *
You will get with fonts-3270 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
