flashcache-dkms software package provides write-back block device cache for Linux (DKMS version), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flashcache-dkms
flashcache-dkms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flashcache-dkms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flashcache-dkms *
You will get with flashcache-dkms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
