How to uninstall or remove flare-engine software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed flare-engine package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove flare-engine

Uninstall flare-engine including dependent package

If you would like to remove flare-engine and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flare-engine

Use Purging flare-engine

If you use with purge options to flare-engine package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge flare-engine

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flare-engine
