firewalld software package provides dynamically managed firewall with support for network zones, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firewalld
firewalld is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firewalld package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firewalld *
You will get with firewalld package name, version, architecture and description in a table
