fireqos software package provides easy to use but powerful traffic shaping tool (program), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fireqos
fireqos is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fireqos package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fireqos *
You will get with fireqos package name, version, architecture and description in a table
