ffindex-dbg software package provides simple index/database for huge amounts of small files (debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ffindex-dbg
ffindex-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ffindex-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ffindex-dbg *
You will get with ffindex-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
