fcitx-table software package provides Flexible Input Method Framework - table engine, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-table
fcitx-table is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-table package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-table *
You will get with fcitx-table package name, version, architecture and description in a table
