How to Install fbcat software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

fbcat software package provides framebuffer grabber, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fbcat

fbcat is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fbcat package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fbcat *

You will get with fbcat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
