How to Install faust software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

faust software package provides functional programming language for realtime audio applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install faust

faust is installed in your system.

Make ensure the faust package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep faust *

You will get with faust package name, version, architecture and description in a table
