fatcat software package provides FAT filesystem explore, extract, repair, and forensic tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fatcat
fatcat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fatcat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fatcat *
You will get with fatcat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
