How to Install faad software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

faad software package provides freeware Advanced Audio Decoder player, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install faad

faad is installed in your system.

Make ensure the faad package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep faad *

You will get with faad package name, version, architecture and description in a table
