ez-ipupdate software package provides client for most dynamic DNS services, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ez-ipupdate
ez-ipupdate is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ez-ipupdate package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ez-ipupdate *
You will get with ez-ipupdate package name, version, architecture and description in a table
