etsf-io software package provides Binary tools to check, merge and read ETSF files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install etsf-io
etsf-io is installed in your system.
Make ensure the etsf-io package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep etsf-io *
You will get with etsf-io package name, version, architecture and description in a table
