etoys software package provides media-rich model, simulation construction kit and authoring tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install etoys
etoys is installed in your system.
Make ensure the etoys package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep etoys *
You will get with etoys package name, version, architecture and description in a table
