How to Install ethtool software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

ethtool software package provides display or change Ethernet device settings, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ethtool

ethtool is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ethtool package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ethtool *

You will get with ethtool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
