How to Install esperanza software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

esperanza software package provides XMMS2 client which aims to be as feature-full and easy-to-use as possible, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install esperanza

esperanza is installed in your system.

Make ensure the esperanza package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep esperanza *

You will get with esperanza package name, version, architecture and description in a table
