erlang-yaws software package provides Erlang application which implements HTTP webserver, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install erlang-yaws
erlang-yaws is installed in your system.
Make ensure the erlang-yaws package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep erlang-yaws *
You will get with erlang-yaws package name, version, architecture and description in a table
