erlang-redis-client software package provides Redis client for Erlang applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install erlang-redis-client
erlang-redis-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the erlang-redis-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep erlang-redis-client *
You will get with erlang-redis-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
