eigensoft software package provides reduction of population bias for genetic analyses, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eigensoft
eigensoft is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eigensoft package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eigensoft *
You will get with eigensoft package name, version, architecture and description in a table
