How to Install edict software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

edict software package provides English / Japanese dictionary, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install edict

edict is installed in your system.

Make ensure the edict package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edict *

You will get with edict package name, version, architecture and description in a table
