eclipse-egit-mylyn software package provides Mylyn integration for EGit, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-egit-mylyn
eclipse-egit-mylyn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-egit-mylyn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-egit-mylyn *
You will get with eclipse-egit-mylyn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
