eclipse-cdt-jni software package provides C/C++ Development Tools for Eclipse (JNI), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-cdt-jni
eclipse-cdt-jni is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-cdt-jni package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-cdt-jni *
You will get with eclipse-cdt-jni package name, version, architecture and description in a table
