eclib-tools software package provides Programs for modular symbols and elliptic curves over Q, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclib-tools
eclib-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclib-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclib-tools *
You will get with eclib-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
