How to Install dwdiff software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dwdiff software package provides diff program that operates word by word, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dwdiff

dwdiff is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dwdiff package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dwdiff *

You will get with dwdiff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
