dsniff software package provides Various tools to sniff network traffic for cleartext insecurities, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dsniff
dsniff is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dsniff package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dsniff *
You will get with dsniff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
