dose-distcheck software package provides Checks whether dependencies of packages can be satisfied, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dose-distcheck
dose-distcheck is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dose-distcheck package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dose-distcheck *
You will get with dose-distcheck package name, version, architecture and description in a table
