dokuwiki software package provides standards compliant simple to use wiki, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dokuwiki
dokuwiki is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dokuwiki package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dokuwiki *
You will get with dokuwiki package name, version, architecture and description in a table
