docbook-ebnf software package provides EBNF module for the XML version of the DocBook DTD, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install docbook-ebnf
docbook-ebnf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the docbook-ebnf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep docbook-ebnf *
You will get with docbook-ebnf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
