diffmon software package provides Tool for reporting changes in system configuration, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install diffmon
diffmon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the diffmon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep diffmon *
You will get with diffmon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
