dict-vera software package provides Dictionary of computer related acronyms -- dict format, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dict-vera
dict-vera is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dict-vera package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dict-vera *
You will get with dict-vera package name, version, architecture and description in a table
