dhcpcd-dbus software package provides DBus bindings for dhcpcd, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dhcpcd-dbus
dhcpcd-dbus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dhcpcd-dbus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dhcpcd-dbus *
You will get with dhcpcd-dbus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
