dh-rebar software package provides helper tools for maintaining Erlang package which is using rebar, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dh-rebar
dh-rebar is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dh-rebar package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dh-rebar *
You will get with dh-rebar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
