dballe software package provides Database for punctual meteorological data (Command line tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dballe
dballe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dballe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dballe *
You will get with dballe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
