cpuset software package provides Allows manipluation of cpusets and provides higher level fun, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpuset
cpuset is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cpuset package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpuset *
You will get with cpuset package name, version, architecture and description in a table
