How to Install console-data software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

console-data software package provides keymaps, fonts, charset maps, fallback tables for kbd., you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install console-data 

console-data is installed in your system.

Make ensure the console-data package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep console-data *

You will get with console-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
