How to uninstall or remove conquest-postgres software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed conquest-postgres package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove conquest-postgres 

Uninstall conquest-postgres including dependent package

If you would like to remove conquest-postgres and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove conquest-postgres 
Use Purging conquest-postgres

If you use with purge options to conquest-postgres package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge conquest-postgres 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove conquest-postgres
