coinor-symphony software package provides COIN-OR solver for mixed-integer linear programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coinor-symphony
coinor-symphony is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coinor-symphony package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coinor-symphony *
You will get with coinor-symphony package name, version, architecture and description in a table
