clirr software package provides Checks Java libraries for compatibility with older releases, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install clirr
clirr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the clirr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep clirr *
You will get with clirr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
