cabal-debian software package provides Create a debianization for a cabal package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cabal-debian
cabal-debian is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cabal-debian package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cabal-debian *
You will get with cabal-debian package name, version, architecture and description in a table
