acedb-other-belvu software package provides multiple sequence alignment editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install acedb-other-belvu
acedb-other-belvu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the acedb-other-belvu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acedb-other-belvu *
You will get with acedb-other-belvu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
