ruby-excon software package provides Ruby library for creating fast, persistent, HTTP(S) connections, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-excon
ruby-excon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-excon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-excon *
You will get with ruby-excon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
