ruby-escape-utils software package provides Faster string escaping routines for your web apps, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-escape-utils
ruby-escape-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-escape-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-escape-utils *
You will get with ruby-escape-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
