ruby-amazon-ec2 software package provides Ruby library for accessing Amazon EC2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-amazon-ec2
ruby-amazon-ec2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-amazon-ec2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-amazon-ec2 *
You will get with ruby-amazon-ec2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
