ruby-activesupport software package provides Support and utility classes used by the Rails framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-activesupport
ruby-activesupport is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-activesupport package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-activesupport *
You will get with ruby-activesupport package name, version, architecture and description in a table
