How to uninstall or remove root-plugin-graf3d-x3d software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed root-plugin-graf3d-x3d package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove root-plugin-graf3d-x3d

Uninstall root-plugin-graf3d-x3d including dependent package

If you would like to remove root-plugin-graf3d-x3d and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove root-plugin-graf3d-x3d

Use Purging root-plugin-graf3d-x3d

If you use with purge options to root-plugin-graf3d-x3d package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge root-plugin-graf3d-x3d

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove root-plugin-graf3d-x3d
