robot-player-doc software package provides Networked server for robots and sensors (documentation), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install robot-player-doc
robot-player-doc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the robot-player-doc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep robot-player-doc *
You will get with robot-player-doc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
