robot-player-dev software package provides Networked server for robots and sensors - development package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install robot-player-dev
robot-player-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the robot-player-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep robot-player-dev *
You will get with robot-player-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
