How to uninstall or remove roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

Uninstall roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst

Use Purging roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst

If you use with purge options to roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove roarplaylistd-codechelper-gst
