rmligs-german software package provides remove incorrectly used ligatures from LaTeX documents, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rmligs-german
rmligs-german is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rmligs-german package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rmligs-german *
You will get with rmligs-german package name, version, architecture and description in a table
